Founded in 1950 by Robert Goossens, this house remains the loyal ally of the greatest couture and fashion houses for whom it still designs stunning sets, as well as conceiving its own original and exclusive jewelry. While Patrick manages the family business, Martine Goossens has followed in her father Robert’s footsteps. For thirty years, this passionate woman has designed out-of-the-box and timeless jewelry which she offers in her boutique on avenue George V in Paris. Never fall into the ease of trends; be in the counter-current to better enrich your identity—that’s Martine Goossens’credo. Besides, the designer does not conceive seasonal collections but rather, over the course of the year, delivers limited-edition pieces… when they are not unique. She garners her inspiration as much in daily sensations as in the haute couture culture that she acquired in her father’s studio. The jewelry comes alive without a sketch, directly in wax or in metals like bronze, silver or vermeil. In search of forms, dimensions, and colors, she confronts the matter so that the jewelry finally takes shape. Martine Goossens is also in charge of the interior design department. She thus creates objects and furniture for great architects, like Peter Marino, but also for a private clientele.
